The carrier FedEx was incapable of delivering this item. I have exchanged various emails with your support department and FedEx, and I still have no idea why the item was not delivered. The service was disgraceful.
We did buy the Smile camera and afterwards when I am looking for the 3.5x4.25 Zink Print Photo Paper Compatible with Kodak Smile Classic Instant Camera I cannot find it. No point to sell the camera if we can not buy the photo papers.

Ik hoop dat er een (gratis) upgrade ter beschikking komt want voor deze prijs had ik betere kwaliteit verwacht. Ik zal de films nu toch nog naar een proffesional moeten brengen en heb ik een toestel waar ik niets mee kan aanvangen.

Positive: compact scanner allows for well up to 180 m (with fixation of the right wheel for heavy wight of film) ; relatively fast scanning
Negative: poor dynamic range, automatic exposure compensation produces brightness oscillation with high contrast film (typically with bright sky and darker foreground). Lack of adjustments (colour adjustment, disable automatic exposure, pixel noise etc).
Urgent: possibility to disable automatic exposure !!!
Totally not worth its value! That could probably only work with the smartphone equipped with a macro lens. Otherwise, the quality of the scanned photos with this process is very very... very low (e.g. with iPhone 14 you have to digitally zoom in, otherwise the picture is the size of your thumbnail). The only value is, that you can check what photos are on the film-roll, but the scanned photos are not suitable even for use on social media. Very disappointing!
Don’t buy it! The quality you achieve with this process is terrible. Not even good enough for social media publishing. I could understand it if this was not marked with so recognizable brand. Very very disappointed!

is it an infrared or bluetooth remote?
Design and touch is perfect but system could be like a lot better. For example you can’t rotate the view, which is strange because it means no vertical content. Also the connection possible only vie 2.4 but not 5…sad. But even worse that I managed to connect it to windows pc yet with no image. same problem appeared for some for quite a time and yet no solution.
But the size is ultimate, nothing will provide this, that’s why 4 out of 5.
I didn't want to write a negative review, but there is no other way. February 03, 2025 I ordered and paid for KODAK Reels Film Digitizer. Today is already March 14, 2025, and Film Digitizer has not been sent to me, the money has not been returned either. The support service writes about some fictitious problems. I will file a lawsuit.

Good product, user friendly and great quality
This feed back adresses the Kodak Photo Plus EU vendor and NOT the product I've not used.
The reason is Kodak Photo Plus EU sent me a version of the digitizer which was not the one posted on their site, and, according to Kodak support in the US, was an outdated version.
I immediately sent an eMail to ask for a return, but I've never received an answer, which is unacceptable.
Fortunately, with many eMail exchanges during 10 days, Kodak Support finally accepted the return and sent me the corresponding shipping sticker. I hope to have a full refund when the product reaches the return center in Ireland.
